Our 2nd Season has seen extensive improvement off the field and a “work in progress” on the field. Better wickets, 2 new artificial wickets, 2 new static and 2 new mobile nets, extensive repair to the lane access to the club are evidence of the clubs ambition and drive to move forward. You can’t keep a good man down

Bish recovering from Op. They say you can’t keep a good man down. Within days of having surgery on both knees the crutches were gone and a determined Bish was up but not quite running. Good luck with a continued speedy recovery!

Appointment of Groundsman

Since the season has ended both squares have undergone their end of season “service”. This was carried out by Keith Wilcox, the head groundsman at King George V Playing fields who extensively loamed, fertilised & spiked them which should lead to a continued improvement in the reliability & quality of the wickets prepared.
